We understand that it can be a difficult decision to choose the right memorial and our website is designed to make the process as simple as possible for you. The following information has been put together to help you as much as possible about our process and the ordering of your memorial.
You may place an order for your memorial by using our website or if you prefer you can visit us to discuss your needs, if that is not possible we can arrange a time convenient to visit your home.
Choosing a memorial
Each memorial is produced at our factory by our craftsmen. We use traditional techniques to ensure that your memorial will remain a lasting tribure, sympathetic to your wishes. Our memorials are produced from the finest quality materials sourced from Britain and overseas, including white Italian marble, Portland and York stone, Nabresina and fine quality granites of various colours. If you click on a particular memorial, the materials available to you will automatically be shown. As the materials we use are natural, this means that the colour can vary slightly from those colours shown.
When choosing your memorial there are certain regulations which need to be considered. Churchyards and cemeteries have different regulations which will sometimes affect the material and size of the memorial permitted. Generally churchyards only allow memorials made from natural stone sympathetic with the surroundings, ie. Portland stone. However, cemeteries in general allow all types of materials. We will check your final choice with the cemetery or churchyard before we proceed. If your chosed memorial is not permitted we will advise you and help you choose the most appropriate alternative.
Our range of memorial designs illustrated on this site do not cover the full choce available to you. Should you not see exactly what you have in mind, our design team will galdly assist in the memorial design to incorporate ideas of your own. This service is provided at no additional cost.
Creating an inscription/additional items
Once you have chose your memorial you will need to consider the wording you would like. In our verses and inscriptions section you will find many examples. Once you have chosen the wording you may wish to personalise your memorial by adding a vase, figurine or photo plaque. You will find examples of these in the additional items section.

No memorial may be erected in any cemetry without applying for permission from the necessary authority of which we will undertake on your behalf as part of our service. There will be a fee for the cemetry application which will vary from authority to authority. We will pay this on your behalf and add the cost to your final bill. When applying for a permit we must ensure that the signatures are that of the registered owner. If not it will be returned to us.
